Coronavirus, COVID 19, the plague, whatever you want to call it has had a huge impact on our country, and our world. I am very saddened by the deaths and the fact that many of those people had to die alone, without their family and friends at their side.
I want to try and focus on a small positive side effect of this virus… the quarantine effect.
We were always running around… work, school, events, extra activities. This along with my three hours of commute time round trip left little to no time to work on side projects, connect with the family or enjoy our house.
Even though I went to work for the first few months, I have had the opportunity to work from home every other week. Those saved three hours alone have given me time. Time to enjoy the house, nature, my family and pets. Time to work on this project.
This extra time was an opportunity to finish this project, a project I have been working on for several years. So in a strange way, I am grateful for this opportunity. But believe me the terrible impact on so many lives has not been lost on me.
I hope at the end of this virus we can all look back on 2020 and find some glimmer of goodness, no matter how hard you may have to dig.
