A very exciting day, the end to a three year process and the beginning of letting go and waiting. I completed editing the film and finished with the audio and music mix with my very talented high school friend Craig Marks.
A very strange, socially distant, COVID appropriate way to mix a film, but it felt like we were in the same room. I so appreciate Craig’s dedication and endless efforts to be a perfectionist in every way. I never dreamed of having a composer write music for me, and I can’t believe what an amazing and important part of the process creating music for this piece was. The soundtrack is incredible and adds so much without distracting at all.

I am proud of this documentary, but it is hard to let go and at some point have to say… “it’s done.” Today I begin submitting to Film Festivals and then it is time to wait. Wait and see what happens next. An end and a beginning to this project.
