Timothy Kiley

I am Assistant News Director for a group of TV stations in the Palms Springs area. I have worked as a Photojournalist, Assignment Manager and Assistant News Director.

I am also a documentary film maker. I enjoy telling stories, and have since I was very young. My first video camera was VHS with a separate deck that you carried on your shoulder.

When I finished my Theatre Arts degree at San Francisco State University I moved to Southern California to make my fame and fortune in the film business.

I worked as a Production Assistant, Location Scout, Film Loader and Camera Assistant. On the side I made short films, one of which made it into a film festival in New York. It screened the week of September 11th, 2001.

The experience of being in New York on 9/11 changed my focus toward Journalism, and I have never looked back.

My wife Ellen Eastwood has been through it all with me. In my spare time I enjoy Spartan races with my brother and enjoyed performing Circus with my three daughters.
